Greetings from the West,

My Brothers,

I hope all is well with you and your families. Our district recently put together a workshop for Wardens and Deacons, and it was one of the best workshops I have ever attended. I was lucky to be in the company of our Junior Warden, Junior Deacon and Junior Steward. This workshop was a great opportunity to have an honest discussion about the future or our Lodge and our District.

At the Lodge level, our Junior Warden continued with our masonic education program, adding tremendous value to our meetings. Freemasonry is certainly a journey, which is different for each of us. However, leaning and discussion more about our symbols and mysteries, makes that journey very enjoyable.

We are planning a Fellow Craft degree soon, and like with our recent ENtered Apprentice degree we will strive to put a flawless degree, the type of degree that all of our Bothers degree. Practice will be key to achieve our goal, or at least get us as close as possible to it. In this case, the journey is just as rewarding as our destination,

Education

The month of April’s education has been focused on the working tools of the EA Degree. We discussed the division of the 24 hours of the day and how we could apply the lesson of the tools to assist us in respecting our time. We also spoke about working on our characters and the building of ourselves as we work to improve daily.

Please let me know if you are interested in participating in our upcoming Fellow Craft degree!

Lastly, please remember that our District has a Lodge that meets in the mornings, Hiram’s Daylight #407, and their meetings are at 10:30 a.m. on the second and 4th Tuesdays of the month. If you are available, I encourage you to attend one of their meetings. Their address is below, and can also be found at  Centralfloridamasons.com/calendar

Greetings from the South,

We have been having fun enjoying the activities that make us Masons. From charity, community outreach, to degrees; Eola #207 is doing all of the things that makes our members proud to be called a Freemason. Not only are we working at the lodge level to change the world, but our sister lodges around the [proud] 16th masonic district are doing a phenomenal job. We have been busy, and it shows. We have yet more work to do.

Education

The month of April’s education has been focused on the working tools of the EA Degree. We discussed the division of the 24 hours of the day and how we could apply the lesson of the tools to assist us in respecting our time. We also spoke about working on our characters and the building of ourselves as we work to improve daily.

Fellowship

For our first meeting in April, we had corned beef and cabbage. There was none that remained at the end of the night,

Our second meeting we had chicken enchiladas with rice and veggies.

If there is something that you would like to see on the menu, or if you have dietary restrictions, please feel free to let us know.

Brother Andy A. Jules
