Greetings brethren,

What an honor it is to write this article, and to serve you and Eola this year.

Congratulations to the newly installed elected and appointed officers of Eola, they are truly a dedicated and eager core who with no doubt perform their duties with diligence and excellence.

Many thanks to all who attended the installation it is hoped you enjoyed the evening. Special thank you to Lady Cyndi and W:. Michael Rudd, Br Rocky Ruvola, Br Jose Franco and Lady Maribel Rodriguez, W:. Sam Glover, W:. Nelson Bonet and W:. Roy Campbell, Had it not been for you all in participation the day of the event as well as assistance from many others along the way leading to it, the evening would not have been nearly as smooth and enjoyable as it was.

Additional thanks to our installation team W:. Micheal T Rudd, W:. Harry G Brumley III, and R.W. Ryan Kilmartin, along with the following past masters of Eola, W;. Sam Glover, W:.Roy Campbell, W:. Ralph Valido, W:. John Dickinson, W:. Jody Fales, W;. Les Williams, and W:. Gerald Favor for their willingness to grant me the honor of their presence, participation and excellence in their execution of roles.

There are high hopes for Eola this year and high standards to meet as we forge our way forward toward our Centennial Celebration year, We have come a great way in the last several years and will continue to progress, adapt and shine amongst the Proud 16^th District as well as the State of Florida at large.

A few notable items to mention and some upcoming events to mark down would be, our revamp of the website, Br Remi Silva has done an incredible job on this and will be serving us as the communication committee chairman, please direct content to Br. Silva so that we may keep the site up to date as often as possible.

New Candidates,  Currently we are receiving petitions for new members , at our meeting on the 21^st  our committees were assigned with an expectation to have completed our next step of the process by our February 4^th Stated Communication where we will be voting. Brothers I implore you to come visit , I assure you we have not moved the building or changed the meeting times, and to be honest it was great to see so many brothers many of whom I’ve not in some time who showed up in January.

There will be a different format to our meetings this year where education and learning will take a precedence to the many “business”    things which can be handled by a refinement of process. We will also be bringing back the “ Fellowcraft Club”  in an  incarnation as well as some very different fundraisers and events which will include our families, friends and the public at large.

Don’t know what the “Fellowcraft” club is?  Show up to lodge and find out!

The calendar is currently up to date and will remain so, therefore please check it frequently as ad-hock items will be popping up as bookings are acquired.  It would be a shame for you to miss that special guest speaker or event so….visit www.eola207.comfrequently, additionally there may be other aspects of the site you would like to research, as we will continue to populate content.

While on the events subject our first fundraiser will be the Eola Annual Fish Fry, which takes place April 18^th please mark that date and plan to attend to support your lodge.

February will be a busy month at Eola with installations and other events from our appendant bodies. Bahia Chapter of the Order of the DeMolay will hold their installation on Saturday February 15^th at 7pm, As a Senior DeMolay from Bahia I HIGHLYencourage you to come support these young men and the chapter we as a lodge host. From experience I can tell you that you’ll be impressed.

In March keep your eyes out for the upcoming EA degree, should you wish to participate in a role please contact our Br Senior Deacon Andy Jules or another officer the date will be finalized at the First stated Communication in March.

We encourage you to come and see what is new and share in the success of Eola.
