Brethren,
My dear Brethren, I hope you are well upon receipt of this month’s Trestleboard, and I hope you and your families are healthy. I am still in Quito, Ecuador, anxiously awaiting the completion of certain processes down here, so I can travel back to Orlando. I want to once again thank Br. Jules for stepping up and running our meetings during my absence, and doing even more great work behind the scenes. I also want to thank our entire line of Officers for all of their hard work and dedication this year, which has been an unusual and peculiar year. Nevertheless, Eola’s Brethren have held down the fort, and our Lodge continues to thrive. A good example of this was the successful Entered Apprentice Degree we had, lead by Br. Mole, who did a fantastic job. Many thanks to all the Brothers that were part of the degree team and those who came to support the Lodge.
I want to give you a little bit of history regarding Ecuador’s oldest Grand Lodge, The Grand Lodge of Ecuador (GLE). The GLE was founded in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 1921, with the help and sponsorship of Peru’s Grand Lodge, and celebrated 101 years of existence on June 19, 2022. The GLE works mainly under the York Rite, and has several Lodges around the Country. The GLE’s official name is Grand Lodge of the Ancient Free and Accepted Mason of Ecuador.
Finally, I leave you with this quote from Br. Benjamin Franklin: “Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.”

Our stated communications will continue as scheduled on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month. Please make sure your contact information is up-to-date with the lodge secretary in order to ensure receipt of all communications. Thank you.
Masters and Wardens will be held at Oviedo No. 243 on 8/6/2022. 8am Breakfast. 9am Meeting. Memorial Lodge to follow.
The next ME/MLT will be on 9/29/2022 at Eola Lodge No. 207 @ 6:30 p.m. This will be the last one for the calendar year.
MLT Sessions have been scheduled for the following dates at 6:30pm. Modules 1-5 at Orange Blossom No. 80 on 8/10/2022. Modules 6-10 at Mokanna No. 329 on 9/14/2022. And Modules 11-15 at Oviedo No. 243 on 10/12/2022. All 15 Modules need to be completed before you are eligible to be nominated to the South. Do not wait to support your lodge. The time is now.
Hirams Daylight Lodge is made for the masons who cannot attend nightly stated communications. They meet at South Seminole Lodge on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month @ 10:30 a.m. Address is 122 Triplet Lake Dr Casselberry, FL 32707.

We hope that you are enjoying the meals that have been and will be prepared for your pleasure. More than half the year has gone by and preparations for the coming years have started. Eola needs to get strong as we will be entering our centennial in a couple of years.
If you have any ideas, be them what they may be, please contact myself, Brother Andy, W:. Ruvola or W:. Rudd. Also, start looking into what you can do to support our lodge into celebrating our 100 years of having our Charter approved. We need ideas for pins and coins. Come up with designs for approval.
