Greetings Brothers, things are really heating up this summer in virtually every aspect of the phrase.

Specifically with Eola in the month of July we have continued to move the needle forward on several fronts. Attendance has been good at the stated communications, and there has been no reports of anyone contracting covid-19 from our membership whatsoever.

Our Br. Mark Naghi gave a successful return of his FC. Catechism and is now ready to move forward to the next step.

There have been several projects completed this month about the lodge through the diligence and cooperation of brothers working together to get the job done. Particular thanks goes to W:. Michael Rudd, W:. Sam Glover, Brothers David Mole, Gary Bergenske, Rocky Ruvola, Nathan Lawson, Jose Franco and Bobby White for their efforts and attendance at the most recent workday held on the weekend of the 25^th.

We will keep what they did a surprise in hopes that those who may not regularly attend come by and see what all has been accomplished.

Additionally we are looking forward to a new class of EA candidates as petitions are being processed and investigations are taking place. This is great news for Eola and a trend which is hoped to continue for some time to come.

ME/MLT was held the night of the 30^th it is strongly encouraged to attend this function and complete the course sooner rather than later especially if you aspire to serve as an officer down the road. Even if you do not have that aspiration the worst that can happen is you learn something you can use in your daily life.

In August expect the heat to amplify as the agenda is once again robust even though we will only conduct one Stated Communication for the month which will be held on August 4^th. The Lodge will be dark August 18^th due to hosting the Adopt-A-Precinct fundraiser for the 2020 Primary elections. November is coming and there will likely be more staffing spots available so please reach out to W:. Sam Glover and volunteer for this extremely crucial fundraiser for Eola. Thank you to the dedicated brothers who serve as volunteers for this event time and time again, as well as the brothers stepping up for the first time with this election.

As many of you know this has been an extremely unconventional year and even more-so when it comes to fundraising which offsets budget items and supports our charities, So a big Thank You to all who are keeping to the task despite the challenges we face this year.

We will continue with projects into August as there are some much needed attention items left on the list, so please feel free to contact myself or the wardens for more information as to how you can help.

ME/MLT will take a break from Eola and be hosted on Saturday Aug 29^th at 9AM @ Winter Park this is a Saturday daytime event rather than the typical Thursday evening sessions we host, please plan accordingly should you have any questions please reach out to W:. Jay Cebollero or W:. Mike Catello.

Classes are still being offered for those interested in completing the requirements for a CWP please contact me directly or direct anyone whom you may know interested to contact me this is open to the general public and is serving as a fundraiser for Eola this year.

Looking toward September…

Our EA brothers will be giving their return on the first meeting of September this gives them one more month to master the materials so please continue to keep up the encouragement for them and lend a hand to help them along if necessary.

With new petitions being received there will be an EA degree in September as well and as I am confident in the skills of our Catechism Instructor Br. Jules we will need to hold a FC. Degree as well.

Last but Not least please note our Second Stated Communication in September (the 15^th) )will be the Official DDGM visit please make plans to attend this evening and cordially welcome R.W. Walter “Ricky” Ricks our DDGM of the Proud 16^th Masonic District to Eola.
